What If…
Your Family Life Could Be Richer?

Using Dr. Phil’s “no nonsense” approach, the Pathways Teen Camp & Family Weekend allows teens and parents to discover what will strengthen relationships and make lives flourish. Honesty, integrity, respect, accountability and acceptance of others are hallmarks of this training.

What if...

  • you could be certain about your teen’s confidence?
  • you knew that your teen’s self-esteem was strong, stable and resilient?
  • you could know that your teen is prepared to deal with the challenges of life?
  • you knew that your teen could make productive connections with other teens without being influenced by cliques or peer pressure?
  • you gave your teen a chance to work with clear-eyed honesty, and deal with what is and not working for them?
  • you and your teen could communicate directly and honestly without having to dig, pry, or guess?

How might your family life be different?

Teens learn how to be accountable for the results in their own lives. They can choose where their lives should go instead of being led by the crowd.

They learn to address what has made them unhappy and develop tools that will lead them to genuine happiness. They learn how to ask for help without feeling weak or like they are giving up too much control.

When you join your teen for Family Weekend you have a chance to hear bottom-line honesty. You get to create a sense of family, deliberately and intentionally, with each member working toward common goals.

Many, for the first time in a long time, have family conversations without walls, barriers or baggage interfering.

What if your family can become a soft place to fall, for everyone in it?

99% of the campers and parents participate in the Family Weekend. After a fantastic barbeque dinner from Red Hot and Blue, parents and teens begin working together as a family.

The Family Training allows teens and their parents to “get real” about what is or is not working for them. Trust, mutual respect, and open communication are key elements to families forging intimate bonds.

Younger brothers and sisters (at least 10 years of age), or any member of the Teen’s immediate family, may also participate in the Family Weekend. Teens will not be allowed to stay for the Family Training without at least one adult family member present.

Parents do not have to have any prior Pathways adult training to send their teen to Teen Camp or attend the Family Camp. If possible, it is advantageous to have completed The Weekend and The Walk seminars prior to the Family Camp.

Pathways Teen Camp trains teens to create what they deserve...
...and keep it for a lifetime.

Life is not cured, it’s managed. No one gets a great life by accident!
“We’re just hoping that we can all survive adolescence. We don’t know how to do anything more than just hang on and hope this too will pass.”

Rekindle your Passion!
“We’re going through the motions of being a family. Nothing really holds us together. We don’t get genuinely excited about anything.”

Create true Intimacy, the kind of bonds that hold through storms!
“We are so alienated from each other. We don’t really know what’s going on in our separate lives, and we don’t feel connected at the heart level.”

Have Peace in a chaotic world!
“We’re so busy with school, sports, jobs and other activities that there’s no time to just hang out together, to relax and enjoy each other’s company.”

With Vision your teen can build the life they deserve!
“My teen wants so much, but it doesn’t seem like there’s any kind of big picture goal. It’s like there’s no real tomorrow after graduation. ”

Your teen can take Control of his or her life!
“We’ve got problems with drugs/alcohol/sexual/compulsive behaviors.”
