Couples and Families Come Together
How
can Step Beyond make a difference in our relationships?
- We remember why we were brought together.
- We recall the significance of our vows.
- We reinforce the work God does through us.
- We redefine the role we play in each others lives.
- We recommit to sharing as family and friends.
What Step Beyond Did For Our Relationship
Blessed to attend, I am still floating after Step Beyond.
A truly awesome experience. They really did take the training
to a new level. As a child of God, renewing my new found faith
in a covenant circle was very affirming. To formally confront
my faith...what a test...what a commitment. I am a devout
Christian after Step Beyond.
The miracles of faith and spirit abounded in that room. Gods
work was being done. Along with my covenant, I witnessed and
participated in seeing many trainees confront the obstacles
they face in their spiritual journey. From the unforgivable
and the unworthy to those finding fault with the Word of God
and those with little faith; the covenant was as personal
as the WALK contract circles.
Sharing the couples dyad with my lovely bride, Veda MacGregor-194,
was tremendous. We discussed our heart, spirit and soul as
directed by the questions posed. We discussed the spiritual
roles we each play in our home and made commitments on how
these roles will evolve. We discussed our commitments to each
other as spouses, life partners and Christians.
Craig-149 & Leslie-146 Couch hosted a separate Teen Step
Beyond. When the children entered our training room, it was
so powerful. Words pale by comparison to being there. Seeing
those children discuss their faith with their parents...seeing
the commitment these families have to their future...seeing
that healing at such a young age and considering all the suffering
they will not endure, WOW!!
It takes work to keep faith. Great work was done to instill,
reaffirm and strengthen the faith of every trainee in attendance.
By the grace God grants me through my faith, I will continue
to spread my spiritual wings as I begin to soar as a baby
Christian. I'm beginning to know how it feels to be free and
I'm excited about this journey. A time for discovery, gaining
power from the faith He offers to all of us.

The Step Beyond was as powerful and overwhelming as the Walk!
My faith in God has always been strong, but, my spiritual
awakening just confirmed that our Lord and Savior is just
a whisper away and salvation is the greatest of gifts. Another
gift I received was having my husband, Kenneth Huebel188,
our daughter Hollie Gilbert172, and our son-in-law Rowdy
Gilbert189 at the Step Beyond also. During our training,
I loved the couples dyad. One would think after 36 years of
marriage there would be no surprises, but we both found that
we wanted and needed different things from each other that
we hadnt realized. What a blessing that was! Then to
be able to have a sitting dyad with our children and be in
a circle of love was truly a family memory that was taken
to the Step Beyond!

First let me just say how blessed I feel to have been given
the opportunity for such a tremendous experience this weekend
(at Step Beyond). Randy180 and I have connected in such
an intimate way and gained so many insights into each other.
But more than that, I left the Step Beyond feeling so clean
an innocence that I dont think I ever remember feeling
before. It is Incredible! What I came into the weekend expecting
was totally different from what I walked away with. Saturday
night I wasn't sure what I was doing. But I continued to trust
the process and on Sunday it became clear to me. It was so
much more than I could have imagined myself. So beautiful!
My heart has been changed again! Thank you, my heart is shining.
